I have come across many women whose first surgery was unsuccessful. Many did not go into the reasons why but for me it was a bone graft that didn't work and continued movement in the symphysis pubis. This ongoing instability led to a low- grade bone infection aroung the surgery site. Even though I went on to have many more surgeries I would like to hear of other womens experiences.
